What service are you interested?
  • What is graphic recording?
Also called visual note-taking, live scribing, sketch-noting; graphic recording is the process of capturing ideas and discussions in real-time through visual notes. It involves creating hand-drawn illustrations that summarize key points and concepts during meetings, conferences, or events.
  • Why are most people visual learners?
Roughly 65% of people are visual learners. This means they learn best when presented with visual information like pictures, charts, diagrams, and videos. The human brain processes visual information more efficiently than text. Visuals help to quickly convey ideas and concepts, making it easier for people to understand and retain information.
  • How does graphic recording add value to your meeting or conference?
Graphic recording adds value by enhancing engagement, improving understanding, and creating a memorable visual record of the event. It helps participants stay focused and provides a unique way to capture and share key insights.
  • How does information retention improve with simple, hand-drawn illustrations?
Simple, hand-drawn illustrations improve information retention by making complex ideas more accessible and easier to understand. Doodling feels good and it is something that we have all done at some point of our lives, in school, at home, kids and adults alike. Visual notes engage multiple senses, which helps reinforce learning and memory.
  • When is the best time to book graphic recording or illustration services?
While we always do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows, it's highly recommended to reach out several weeks in advance—ideally 3 to 6 weeks before your event or project deadline. Booking early ensures: Enough time for creative planning and collaboration Availability on your preferred date(s), especially for live events A smooth workflow for revisions, approvals, and production The highest quality outcome tailored to your needs If you’re unsure of your exact dates but are considering using graphic recording or custom illustration, feel free to reach out early to start the conversation. That way, we can tentatively hold space in the calendar and be ready when the time comes.
  • What is the difference between digital and analog graphic recording?
Both have their advantages. Digital graphic recording uses a tablet and stylus, making it easy to share, edit quickly, and can be done remotely (The artist does not need to be physically present at your meeting/event). It's also great for virtual events and webinars. Analog graphic recording has artists drawing on paper in real-time, adding a hands-on and engaging touch to in-person events. It creates memorable visuals that catch the eye. Think about your event type (virtual or in-person), need for quick distribution, and desired impact. Digital works well for virtual events due to easy sharing, while analog is great for the engaging, physical presence at in-person events. At Inkforma, we can help you decide the best method for your event. Contact us for advice.
